A Singaporean graphic designer trained at the prestigious Central Saint Martins, London, and most recently at The Cooper Union, New York, Tan Ying Tong also completed a foundational year in Architecture at the National University of Singapore.
Ying Tong impressed with her admirable entrepreneurial spirit and grit in the pursuit of her passion in design, as well as talent showcased through her work in book design and typeface design.
Marrying her training in graphic design and architecture, Ying Tong is currently honing her craft by pursuing an extremely niche specialisation in Typography through a 16-month postgraduate programme at L’École supérieure d'art et de design d’Amiens (L’Esad) in Amiens, France.
Rukpong Ramaiturapong is a graphic designer turned fashion designer. He has been exposed to the full spectrum of fashion from production to presentation, and thus has honed a holistic view of the fashion industry.
Rukpong has worked for renowned brands such as Celine, Givenchy and Roger Vivier, with his talent further recognised at the Harper’s Bazaar New Generation Designers’ Award.
He aspires to be a significant art director within the fashion industry. He is currently pursuing a Master in Fashion Design, with a major in Image at Institut Français de la Mode in Paris, France.
Daryl Goh is a multi-media artist curator and educator based in Singapore. Daryl has shown at Carrousel Du Louvre at Paris' Louvre Palace and the Parallax Art Fair, while contributing to the Singapore art scene through teaching, curation and serving on judging panels.
His ambition for his own art and willingness to give back to the community is a trait Club 21 is proud to support.
Daryl has attained a Master of Fine Art at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He continues to head the NPE Art Residency which he had founded, while managing arts programming at the National University of Singapore.
Club 21’s second scholar, Tomiwa Adeosun, graduated with a Master’s degree in Menswear (Footwear) from the Royal College of Art (RCA) in June 2015. Previously a firefighter with the London Fire Brigade, Tomiwa received the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST) Scholarship set up by the Royal Warrant Holders Association for preservation of traditional British craftsmanship in 2015.
Tomiwa currently honing his craft as a cordwainer at the adidas Design Academy headquartered in Herzogenaurach, Germany.
Zhou Jixuan was the first recipient of the Club 21 Scholarship.
Jixuan is an accomplished artist, illustrator and graphic designer who embodies Club 21’s values of passion, creativity and style.
Jixuan has had solo exhibitions at Chan Hampe Galleries, Okarina B Gallery (Tokyo), and Sugar Sweet Sunshine (New York), and has participated in group exhibitions in London and Singapore.
In 2015, Jixuan graduated from New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology with an Associate Degree in Communication Design with honours.
